2012 Christmas is Not Far Away~ Plan your FAMILY TRADITIONS

Every year as Christmas approaches, I vow to dig out the magazines a bit sooner and make plans to have a NON rushed, TRADITIONAL, family Christmas.

And EVERY YEAR, it comes rushing upon me, usually the week before Halloween as the stores cram the shelves with as much as they can to help us decide what to buy our favorite recipient.

Again, this year I am setting goals, and with the help of a few friends we are vowing to put the CHRIST and the GIVING back into Christmas for all in our family.

I invite you to take a peek at the book on this site~THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIVING, which is now available for download through XLIBRIS.com

The children are given 12 GIFTS UNDER THE TREE TO GIVE AWAY. They can be small things, like visits to the nursing home, or reading books with a neighbor, or singing carols, or even helping make a pets day a bit warmer.

Some of the text is available here with the illustrations on www.12daysofchristmasgiving.blogspot.com

We hope you will stop in or check the website for upcoming book signings.

We are scheduling now for events so give us a call if you want to bring the message of CHRIST in Christmas to your town or neighborhood.

Blessings and MERRY CHRISTmas!

  1. Allison, I LOVE this! I am founder of The Birthday Project, a movement that encourages & inspires people to use their birthdays, life milestones and holidays to make the world a better place. This book is perfect. I'd like to feature it on the blog portion of my website www.thebdayproject.com as well as our facebook fan page (facebook.com/thebirthdayproject). I plan to order a book (maybe a couple...perhaps a giveaway on the facebook page) and am excited to help you spread the word. BEAUTIFUL idea!
